As we enter the business end of the 2018/19 season, clubs across Europe are beginning to turn their thoughts to their summer recruitment plans.
Here, our friends at Football Whispers have rounded up the latest transfer news from the continental media.
Real Madrid will sell Gareth Bale in the summer as club president Florentino Perez has run out of patience with the Welshman. Only an outstanding end to the season for the long-time Manchester United transfer target could persuade Perez to change his mind. (AS)
After months of discussions, Jordi Alba has penned a new contract with Barcelona. The 29-year-old left-back's new deal runs until 2024 and includes a whopping £428m release clause. With Alba now committed long-term, Barca will aim to sign a back-up for the Spain international in the summer. (Mundo Deportivo)
And Barcelona are considering three experienced left-backs whose contracts expire at the end of the season to be Alba's deputy: Arsenal's Nacho Monreal, Liverpool's Alberto Moreno and Felipe Luis of Atletico Madrid. (Sport)
Despite links with a summer move to Inter Milan, Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic has no intention of leaving Barcelona in the near future. (Marca)
Marcelo, Isco and Marco Asensio are all unhappy at Real Madrid under manager Santiago Solari. Marcelo and Isco are both keen on a summer move to Juventus, whereas signing Asensio would be more difficult for the Italian champions but not impossible. (Tuttosport)
Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba was also a target for Juventus before signing his new contract at the Camp Nou. (Tuttosport)
In addition to selling captain Mauro Icardi, Inter Milan will dispense with the services of manager Luciano Spalletti at the end of the season, regardless of results. Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Juventus' Massimiliano Allegri top the Nerazzurri's list of desired replacements. (Repubblica)
Paulo Dybala of Juventus and Roma's former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko are Inter's top targets to replace Icardi at the San Siro. (Calciomercato)
Paris Saint-Germain have offered a contract to their France U16 international defender Corentin Louakima, but the youngster also has an offer on the table from Inter Milan. (L'Equipe)
Chelsea have stolen a march on Wolves and Leicester in the race to sign Croatian midfielder Josip Vukovic from Maritimo, but any deal hinges on whether the Blues can overturn or delay their transfer ban levied by UEFA. (O Jogo)
