Monaco defender Fabinho is "likely" to remain at the club this summer, a senior club source has told Sky Sports News HQ.

Monaco believe they are in a "strong position" to keep their right-back, despite reported interest from Premier League clubs including Manchester United.

According to a senior figure at Monaco, the club's "goal is to keep the team as it is without any major departures" before the start of the Champions League group stage.

Monaco are in Group E with Tottenham, Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow.
