The latest Manchester United transfer stories as they reportedly want to bring in PSV winger Steven Bergwijn.
Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that United are considering an offer for Bergwijn on the instructions of caretaker-manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 21-year-old Netherlands international only signed a contract last summer until 2022, but United are reportedly keen to make a bid in the region of £25m to secure his services.
Bergwijn has scored 10 goals and added nine assists in 25 appearances this season.
United have extended the contract of Scott McTominay until 2023, with the option of another year.
United have been considering letting McTominay leave on loan, with Celtic among the interested parties, but Solskjaer revealed on Friday that he did not expect much movement.
Paul Pogba has made a U-turn on his United contract stance, according to The Sun.
The midfielder was reportedly unhappy at United under Jose Mourinho but is understood to now want to speak about a new deal, with his contract still having more than two years left on it.
Reims central defender Bjorn Engels has spoken of his desire to play in England for Arsenal and that he would never join United because of his wife's allegiance to Liverpool.
"Not right now, but if my level continues to rise, it will come," the 24-year-old told L'Equipe.
"I've been there a couple of times in the past, maybe next time is the right one. Arsenal? It would be a dream. But playing in England, it would be already top."
"She's [Engel's wife] from Liverpool and all her family is a fan of the Reds," he added.
"When Everton was interested in me, she said to me laughing: 'Everton is OK, but never Man United!'"
