The latest Manchester United transfer stories as they are reportedly interested in PSV winger Steven Bergwijn.
According to the Mirror, United have asked PSV to keep them informed if they plan to sell their winger Bergwijn after Bayern Munich joined the race to sign the 21-year-old.
It is believed the Eredivisie club value their talented Dutch winger at £25m.
The Express are reporting that United and Chelsea will battle it out for Christian Eriksen after Real Madrid pulled out of the race to sign the Denmark international.
Eriksen is reportedly in talks to sign a new contract at Tottenham, with his current deal due to expire in 2020.
Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella is being considered by United, according to Gazzetta. The 21-year-old, who has four caps for the Italian national team, is said to have a €50m price tag. Sky sources understand the midfielder is also on Chelsea's shortlist as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas.
Fiorentina have confirmed that United put in a bid for their 21-year-old defender Nikola Milenkovic, but the offer was rejected.
"We rejected great offers from Lyon for [Jordan] Veretout, from Marseille for [Giovani] Simeone and from Manchester United for Nikola Milenkovic," Fiorentina chief executive Pantaleo Corvino told Gazzetta dello Sport.
Fiorentina are said to be not interested in selling their prized asset.
Antonio Valencia is free to join either Newcastle or Fulham, according to The Sun. The Ecuador international's contract expires in the summer and can leave the club on a free transfer.
