Agent confirms English interest

Belgian international Gaby Mudingayi admits he is flattered to be linked with a move to the Premier League. The Lazio midfielder has reportedly been scouted by a number of clubs including Manchester United. Indeed Mudingayi's agent Didier Frenay has confirmed that there is interest from both the Premier League and Bundesliga. "There is interest form England and Germany," Frenay told Het Nieuwsblad. "They are top teams, but I cannot name names."

Flattered

Mudingayi, born in DR Congo, admits he is attracted by the reported interest from England. "The interest flatters me," he said. "This sort of thing is perfect motivation for me to keep working hard." Despite the link Mudingayi insists he is more than happy with life in the Eternal City. "I feel good in Rome," he said. "I have a contract here although under the new law I could leave for a lump sum as I have been here three seasons. "But for the moment I want to concentrate on Lazio - after that we will see."
