Chelsea's pre-season International Champions Cup clash with Real Madrid is to take place at Michigan Stadium.

The stadium, known as the 'Big House,' is the largest stadium in all of the United States with a capacity of 107,601.

It is the home of the Michigan Wolverines, the American football team of the University of Michigan, and previously had a capacity of over 109,000.

It will not be the first time the venue has hosted a high profile pre-season match-up. In 2014, Real Madrid also played there, losing 3-1 to Manchester United.

It will be Chelsea's second of three games in this year's competition, all of which are taking place in America.
