Chelsea striker Loic Remy has signed a two-year deal with La Liga club Las Palmas.
Sky Sports News reported on Deadline Day that the 30-year was in talks over his Stamford Bridge exit and on Friday night Las Palmas revealed they had snared their man.
Remy had entered the last year of his deal at Chelsea and was deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte.
The transfer is acceptable because the Spanish transfer window remains open until 11pm on September 1.
After completing his medical in London on Thursday, Remy flies to Gran Canaria on Friday night and will be presented as their new player at the Gran Canaria Stadium at Saturday lunchtime.
He is the second former Premier League player to sign for Las Palmas this week, after ex-Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani was also brought in.
A Chelsea statement read: "A popular member of the dressing room and a player who will always have a place in our history books for his contribution during the 2014/15 season.
"We thank Loic for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future."
Remy joined the Blues from west London rivals QPR in August 2014 and scored 12 times in 46 appearances.
Only eight of those appearances came last season, however, and Remy did not even make a single matchday squad during the current campaign.
