Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta says the players will respect Eden Hazard's decision if he decides to leave the club.
Azpilicueta insists that Hazard is currently focused on his next big Chelsea assignment - the Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku on 29 May.
Hazard has enjoyed another superb season at Stamford Bridge but has only a year left on his contract, and Real Madrid are understood to be confident of signing him this summer.
The Belgium international says he has told Chelsea where he thinks his future lies and that he expects his future to be resolved after the Arsenal game.
Azpilicueta told Sky Sports: "Obviously Eden is a very important player for us.
"We arrived here at the same time and obviously we want him to stay with us - but we have to respect his decision.
"He is a Chelsea player and his mind is only doing well with Chelsea and on lifting the trophy in Baku - and then we will see."
Chelsea are currently in Boston preparing for a 'Final Whistle on Hate' friendly against New England Revolution on Wednesday.
It is slightly unconventional preparation for a European final in Azerbaijan but Azpilicueta is unconcerned.
He said: "We will have time to do everything. We will have time to train hard, to rest.
"We have nearly two weeks until the final and I think it is really important to arrive in good condition.
"It is our final game of the season and hopefully we can get in good shape and lift the trophy."
