Jurgen Klopp has hinted Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could return from injury in time to feature for England at this summer's European Championship.
Henderson suffered a knee injury in Liverpool's 1-1 Europa League draw against Borussia Dortmund in early April and was ruled out for up to eight weeks, making him a major doubt for the finals in France.
However, Klopp has revealed the midfielder is progressing well in his recovery from that injury and could regain full fitness prior to the tournament, providing a welcome boost for England manager Roy Hodgson.
"Hendo in a good way for England, not sure about for Liverpool. Not on pitch yet," Klopp said ahead of Liverpool's Europa League semi-final second leg against Villarreal.
Henderson has been a regular starter under Hodgson and featured in six of England's 10 European Championship qualification matches.
