The latest Liverpool transfer rumours with less than a week left of the January window.

Liverpool have reportedly opened talks to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Italian newspaper claims Liverpool sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old in action.

Should Liverpool wish to sign the midfielder, they would have to pay his reported £30m (£25.9m) price tag and fight off competition from Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan for his signature.

Rabiot has not played for PSG since December 11 and was not included in the Ligue 1 champions' squad for their 4-1 win over Rennes on Sunday.

L'Equipe reported that PSG want to sell Rabiot now rather than wait until the summer and let him leave for free.

The 23-year-old, who is also linked to Barcelona, is said to have rejected a late approach from Tottenham with the hope that Liverpool will come in for him.

Ben Woodburn could be on his way out of the club after an unsuccessful loan spell at Sheffield United with Aston Villa reportedly interested in signing the 19-year-old.

The Birmingham Mail are reporting that Villa were keen on signing Woodburn in the summer and could reignite their interest and bring the midfielder to the Midlands.

Jurgen Klopp said he would only let Woodburn leave on loan if he is guaranteed regular game-time.

He said: "Ben Woodburn is an outstanding talent, still pretty much a kid, and I am happy to see him here, running around, completely fit and really settled in the squad.

"Now he trained [on Friday] for the first time so I think if something happens with a loan, then it will happen at the end of the week.

"We will really try to give him as many sessions as possible so if he goes somewhere, he is really in a good situation."

Liverpool are said to be monitoring Birmingham City's teenage striker Romello Mitchell, according to the Daily Mail.

Mitchell, who turned 16 this month, is a regular fixture in Birmingham's U18s squad and he most recently scored in the club's U16s' 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
