Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum says he expects a "big fight" in Sunday's game against Merseyside rivals Everton.
After three Premier League draws in four games, Liverpool looked back to their best on Wednesday when they swept aside Watford in a 5-0 win.
Liverpool are one point ahead of Manchester City with 10 games to go in the Premier League season, and manager Jurgen Klopp wants his team to "enjoy the ride".
That ride continues this Sunday when Liverpool head to Goodison Park - live on Sky Sports - and Wijnaldum says he does not expect anything to come easily against their bitter rivals.
"I expect it is going to be a big fight," he said. "It was a good game last time we played them. They were really good, better than all the times I'd played them before.
"I don't expect them to be less motivated than they were before. I think it's going to be a difficult game.
"Every game is different. They can have a bad run and something can change and make them good again."
When the two teams met in December, Divock Origi's 96th-minute winner saw Liverpool snatch a dramatic 1-0 victory at Anfield.
In that game, the support was in Liverpool's favour, but despite the hostility from Everton fans, Wijnaldum is relishing the atmosphere expected on Sunday.
"Yeah, it's nice," he added. "You use it to spur you on. It's great to win there. My first year we won there.
"In the derby, their fans expect a lot from the players, they will support the players on the pitch.
"It's a totally different atmosphere to a normal game, but we go there to play football and to hopefully enjoy it."
