Arsenal have not given up hope that goalkeeper Petr Cech will be able to face Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.

Cech failed to make it through the 5-1 win over Everton on Saturday evening, having to come off with 20 minutes remaining after suffering a calf injury.

Arsenal are still assessing the 35-year-old's injury and are yet to rule him out of Saturday's clash with their north London rivals.

Cech is yet to miss a Premier League game this season but Arsenal have Colombia international David Ospina standing by to make his first start of the campaign.

Ospina has made nine starts in 2017-18 but all have been in the Carabao Cup, Europa League and FA Cup.

Even with Cech in goal, Arsenal have struggled to keep clean sheets in the Premier League this season, their last coming nine games ago, against Newcastle on December 16.
