Josh Bowler has completed his £4.25m move from QPR to Everton and signed a three-year contract at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have been pursuing the 18-year-old for a number of weeks but agreed a deal of £1.5m rising to £4.25m earlier this week.

Bowler has not made a Championship start for QPR, making his debut and only appearance off the bench in May and the winger will be added to Everton's under-23s squad.

He is a highly-rated young midfielder and Everton have been pursuing a philosophy of building a squad of the best young talent they can acquire.

Bowler rejected a new contract offer from the Rs in June and Everton were encouraged to continue their pursuit.

He only signed his first professional contract in February this year and made his debut for Rangers in the 4-0 defeat at Norwich City on the final day of the Sky Bet Championship season.
