Liam Walsh is back training at Everton following his loan spell at Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined Birmingham on an initial six-month loan deal on the final day of the summer transfer window under then-manager Harry Redknapp.
He featured three times during Redknapp's short spell at St Andrew's, but had not played since the former Tottenham boss was sacked and replaced by Steve Cotterill.
Although his loan deal has not been terminated, Walsh will likely play for Everton U23s in order to maintain his match fitness.
Walsh, capped by England at U16 and U18 level, is yet to make his first-team debut for Everton and has previously spent time on loan at League Two side Yeovil.
He also played a vital role as Everton won the 2016/17 Premier League 2 title under David Unsworth, scoring six goals
