Roy Hodgson says it is too late for Sam Allardyce to apologise after the Everton manager mocked him over his speech.
Allardyce was caught on camera by undercover reporters in 2016 calling Hodgson "Woy" - a reference to the Crystal Palace's manager's speech.
Hodgson - who was Allardyce's predecessor as England coach - said he had not received an apology, and that it was now too late to get one.
Hodgson said: "Do you like being insulted? No, not particularly. Did it bother me? I didn't lose any sleep over it.
"My relationship with him before, I always thought was good. Now I would expect it to be less good.
"Would I like him to apologise? No. It's far too late. It has gone. It belongs to the distant past.
"In jobs like I am doing at the moment when you are the manager of a Premier League club, you live very much in the ultimate present and the future.
"I'm not interested. I've said what I've got to say."
Despite his disappointment at Allardyce's comment, Hodgson confirmed he would shake his opposite number's hand when Crystal Palace meet Everton in the Premier League at Goodison Park on Saturday.
