Andrija Novakovich signs new Reading deal and joins SC Telstar on loan

Young striker Andrija Novakovich has signed a new two-year deal with Reading and sealed a loan move to Dutch side SC Telstar.
Novakovich, who is a United States Under-23 international, was the club's leading scorer at that age level last season when he hit the target 16 times in 33 appearances.
He will now spend the 2017/18 season in the Netherlands with Eerste Divisie team Telstar, who finished 16th last season.
Academy product Novakovich made his Reading debut in the 2014/15 season but his only games since have come in last campaign's Checkatrade Trophy, in which he scored two goals.
The 20-year-old, born in the US state of Wisconsin, also had a brief spell on loan with Cheltenham Town in 2015/16.
