Goalkeeper Vito Mannone is fit after missing four matches following a training-ground injury. Striker Sam Baldock is expected to miss out though, as he continues to struggle with a calf complaint.
Toni Leistner is back in training and could yet feature for QPR at the Madejski Stadium, having shaken off a groin injury. The German defender missed Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Swansea having picked up the issue in training on Friday.
Jordan Cousins can return for Steve McClaren's side having served a one-match suspension in the weekend's hefty defeat in south Wales. Sean Goss is back in league contention following a back injury picked up in pre-season. The midfielder featured in last week's Carabao Cup defeat to Blackpool.
