Reading pay players and staff after Hong Kong bank holiday error

Reading have paid their players and staff in full after blaming a payment error on the Hong Kong bank holiday.
Sky Sports News revealed on Wednesday that some of the Royals squad had not received their salaries for April.
Reading are owned by Renhe Commercial Holdings Company Limited, which is owned by Chinese businessman Dai Yongge.
Hong Kong had a Labour Day bank holiday on May 1 and it is understood the bank used by the Reading owners was moving premises, which led to administrative problems.
Reading have avoided relegation from the Championship this season, with one game left to play - a home clash with Birmingham City.
After Paul Clement was sacked as manager in early December, the Royals turned to Portuguese coach Jose Gomes, who has won six, drawn nine and lost seven of his 22 league games in charge so far.
