Tottenham not concerned with Monday night fixtures, says Harry Kane

Harry Kane says he and his Tottenham team-mates are happy to play catch-up to league leaders Leicester City.
Spurs closed to gap to the Foxes at the top of the Premier League on Monday with a 4-0 win over Stoke at the Britannia, after Claudio Ranieri's men had been held to a 2-2 draw at home to West Ham the previous day.
Tottenham play after Leicester in every round of fixtures between now and the end of the season but Kane says Spurs will use that position to their advantage, rather than be hindered by it.
"The lads have been itching to play," Kane said. "Watching all the football over the weekend and having to wait until Monday night to play, gets you ready, gets you firing.
"Watching the games, it was a chance for us to gain some points and we've gone out there and showed what we're capable of."
Kane scored twice as Tottenham comfortably beat the Potters in the first of three consecutive Monday night matches for the north London club.
And with the gap at the top of the table now cut to just five points with four games to go, Kane believes the title race will go right down to the wire.
"With more performances like that, I'm sure we'll push them all the way," he said.
"All we can do is keep doing what we're doing. We've got to win all our games. We want to win all four of them and then we will go from there.
"Obviously Leicester have got some tough games coming up. They're in the driving seat. All we can do is keep winning our games."
Tottenham's title hopes were boosted by the upcoming suspension of Leicester's top scorer Jamie Vardy, who was sent off for two bookable offences against the Hammers.
Vardy faces the prospect of an increased ban after being charged with improper conduct following his dismissal, but Kane was reluctant to comment on the fate of his main rival for the Premier League golden boot.
"It's hard for me to talk about," said the Spurs striker.
"The referee has made a decision and whatever way he's reacted, he's reacted. It's down to the FA and whatever they choose to do. It's not really my decision."
Kane has scored 24 league goals so far this season, two more than Vardy and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.
And the 22 year-old England international says he is pleased to have proved his doubters wrong this campaign.
"There was a lot of talk at the start of the season," Kane said. "It fuelled the fire in my belly to want to prove them wrong and I've gone and done that.
"It doesn't stop here for me. It's not a case of 'okay, I'm happy where I am'. I want to go and get more goals, create my chances for the team and do my best for Tottenham Hotspur."
Kane, along with Vardy and fellow Leicester forward Riyad Mahrez, are the three favourites for the PFA Player of the Year award.
However, the Spurs striker admits that he may not be able to accept the award even if he wins it this Sunday.
"I'm not sure if I will be able to make it, with the game on Monday," he said.
"Sometimes you've got to look at the bigger picture, and Monday is more important for us as a team. I haven't spoken to the gaffer about it. I'll see what he wants me to do and we'll go from there."
