Tottenham have revealed the retractable pitch they plan to install at their "ground-breaking" new stadium.
Spurs have selected Sheffield company SCX to produce a grass pitch that sits directly above an artificial surface, with the latter being used for NFL matches, music concerts and other events.
The stadium will be the first of its kind in the UK to have two pitches inside the same bowl.
The real turf football pitch will sit in three pitch-long steel trays, each weighing more than 3,000 tonnes, and will retract under the South Stand to reveal the artificial playing surface underneath.
It will take approximately 25 minutes to switch from one surface to another.

Spurs' new 61,000-capacity stadium is set to be completed in time for the start of the 2018/19 Premier League season. They are playing their home fixtures at Wembley Stadium for this campaign.
Tottenham's new stadium is also set to play host to the NFL from 2018, with the club agreeing a nine-year deal with the league to host International Series games.
