The decision to remove Dean follows his confrontation with Mauricio Pochettino at the end of Tottenham's loss to Burnley on Saturday.

Pochettino was involved in a furious confrontation with Dean in the centre-circle at full-time, while his assistant Jesus Perez could be seen angrily pointing his finger towards the official's face.

All those involved refused to disclose what was said when asked to comment by Sky Sports.
