Archibald-Henville back at St James Park on a permanent basis

Exeter City have signed defender Troy Archibald-Henville for an undisclosed fee from Tottenham Hotspur. Archibald-Henville has secured a permanent move to St James Park after impressing during two separate loan spells at the Grecians in the past year. He has made a total of 36 appearances for the League One side and Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is happy to bring the 21-year-old back to the club. "Troy has been with us for a year and did extremely well for us," Tisdale told the club's official website. "We were very keen to keep him, but that is what happens when you have got a young player on loan, he is not yours." In signing for Exeter, Archibald-Henville becomes the first player the club have paid a transfer fee for since Sean Devine was captured from Wycombe Wanderers in 2003.
