Middlesbrough midfielder Harry Chapman has completed a permanent transfer to Blackburn Rovers.
The 21-year-old winger, who spent last season on loan at Ewood Park, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract through to June 2021.
Chapman made 16 appearances, scoring one goal in a 2-0 victory at home to Rotherham before his season was cut short by a hamstring injury.
Chapman broke through the ranks at the Riverside Stadium and made his first-team debut in a Carabao Cup victory over Notts County in August.
He went on to make only four more appearances for Boro this season, the most recent as a second-half substitute in the 5-0 FA Cup victory over Peterborough earlier in January.
Chapman, a World Cup winner with England U20s in 2017, also had loan spells with Barnsley and Sheffield United in League One, with both clubs subsequently earning promotion to the Championship.
Rovers currently sit eighth in the table, three points off the play-off spots and four off promotion rivals Middlesbrough.
