Tyrone Mings is expected to complete a loan move to Aston Villa from Bournemouth on Deadline Day, Sky Sports News understands.

The deal includes a "matching option" clause which means Villa will be able to match any offer that comes in to buy him in the summer.

He has completed his medical, and only the finer points of the contract are still to be concluded.

Mings has made just seven appearances in all competitions this season and Eddie Howe admitted, following Wednesday's 4-0 victory against Chelsea, the defender could leave the club.

A number of Championship clubs - including West Brom and Derby - were interested in the player, who arrived at the Vitality Stadium in 2015 from Ipswich for a then club-record £8m.

"That maybe one we look at. I need to speak to the people dealing with the respective deals to see where that one stands," Howe said.
