Newcastle's Jacob Murphy has joined West Brom on loan until the summer, with Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar moving to Sheffield Wednesday for the remainder of the campaign.

Murphy has struggled for game time under Rafa Benitez this season, making just three Premier League starts.

The 23-year-old winger has been at Newcastle since he was signed from Norwich in the summer of 2017. He is an England U21 international and came through the ranks at Carrow Road.

Meanwhile, Aarons, also 23, spent the first half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Czech club Slovan Liberec, with the winger last featuring in the Premier League for Newcastle in December 2017.

Lazaar remained at Newcastle this season, but the 27-year-old Moroccan has failed to make a senior appearance for the club.
