Claudio Bravo has returned to Manchester City's Champions League squad for the knockout stages, after injury ruled him out of the group stage.

Bravo suffered an Achilles problem last August and has not played at all yet this term, and City had to recall 19-year-old goalkeeper Aro Muric from his loan at NAC Breda to cover.

But Bravo has replaced Eliaquim Mangala in the squad for the upcoming last-16 clash with German club Schalke, the first leg of which is in Gelsenkirchen later this month.

Gabriel Jesus has qualified for the B list after moving past the two-year mark of his stay at the Etihad Stadium, and also having been born after January 1 1997, which has allowed City to move young centre-back Philippe Sandler to the A list.

Champions League clubs are limited to 17 non-locally trained players in a squad of 25. Eligible youngsters are registered on a 'B List'.
