Middlesbrough kick off their first top-flight campaign in seven years with a home match against Stoke City on August 13.
And Boro fans will not have long to wait for their first taste of a Wear-Tees derby as they travel the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland seven days later.
A trip to West Bromwich Albion completes the opening month for Aitor Karanka's side, who return to action after the international break with a home match against Crystal Palace on September 10.
The festive season sees Boro take to the road with fellow new boys Burnley first up at Turf Moor on Boxing Day before they see out the year with a trip to Jose Mourinho's Manchester United on December 31.
Six matches are scheduled for April - bookended with games against Swansea and Manchester City - before they round off their Premier League return against Liverpool at Anfield on May 21.
