Tony Pulis has called on the Middlesbrough supporters to help the club secure their place in the Championship play-offs.

Fifth-placed Boro will guarantee themselves a spot in the play-off places with a match to spare if they avoid defeat against seventh-placed Millwall, in a crucial fixture live on Sky Sports Football on Saturday.

The former Stoke boss is hoping to see a party atmosphere at the Riverside Stadium.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game, Pulis said: "It's important that the supporters turn up tomorrow and make it a cup tie atmosphere.

"They've been absolutely fantastic ever since I came into the football club and they were great away to Derby last week. But we need that at home tomorrow.

"The big thing for me is that the players turn up tomorrow and give the best that they can."

Boro are two games unbeaten and Pulis is confident his team will complete the job.

"We'll turn up tomorrow with the confidence of winning the last two games and winning them in style," he said.

"I've got tremendous respect for what (Millwall manager) Neil (Harris) has done and they should take big credit for what they've done this season.

"I look forward to these games and these are the games that you should embrace. You've got to grasp these games and really enjoy them."
