Fulham are in talks to sign Bordeaux right-back Youssouf Sabaly, according to Sky sources.
The 25-year-old Senegal international was close to joining Napoli in the summer.
Sabaly, who played at the 2018 World Cup, can also play at left-back but has struggled for games at Bordeaux this season.
He has made just seven Ligue 1 appearances and four in the Europa League.
Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri admitted last week that on-loan right-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah is free to return to Manchester United after struggling to make an impact at Craven Cottage.
