Hull have agreed a fee with Sheffield United for striker Christian Nade.
Hull have agreed a fee with Sheffield United for striker Christian Nade. The Tigers were given permission to speak with Nade last week and are now hopeful of confirming him as a new player by Tuesday at the latest.
The French striker, who only joined The Blades from Troyes last summer, struggled to establish himself at Bramall Lane.
He scored just three Premier League goals in 21 appearances, although he was mostly used as a substitute.
Hull boss Phil Brown believes he has the potential to succeed in the Championship and is set to present him as his latest signing.
Dean Windass, Richard Garcia, Bryan Hughes and Wayne Brown have already arrived at Hull this summer.
A statement from Hull said: "The club can confirm that Sheffield United have agreed a fee for striker Christian Nade.
"The player will hold talks with the Tigers today and we hope to be able to make an announcement in the next 24 hours."
Hull have not disclosed the fee they will pay for Nade but it is understood to be around £550,000.
