Nade refuses Hull deal

Christian Nade has rejected Hull City's offer of an incentive-based contract.

Sheffield United striker Christian Nade has rejected Hull City's offer of an incentive-based contract.

Nade was offered a three-year deal, which included bonus payments for appearances and goals, by Tigers boss Phil Brown in order to safeguard the club's future.

Hull had already agreed a £550,000 fee with The Blades for the 22-year-old, but Nade was unwilling to accept the terms of the deal.

"We've spotted someone who has the potential to be a good striker, but I wanted to safeguard the future of this club by giving him an incentive-based contract," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"He wasn't willing to accept that and he has rejected the deal we offered."
