Former England defender Matthew Upson is one of four players who will not return to MK Dons after their contracts expired.
The 37-year-old, who made just seven appearances all term as the Dons were relegated to Sky Bet League 1, has not been offered a new contract along with Antony Kay and Jordan Spence.
Striker Nicky Maynard, 29, will also be looking for a new club after turning down an extension with Karl Robinson's side while the Dons boss will meet with out-of-contract trio Carl Baker, Cody Cropper and Alex Revell to discuss their futures.
Ben Tilney and Giorgio Rasulo have had one-year extensions activated and goalkeeper Charlie Burns will also hold talks with Robinson about his deal.
