Each week, we will be taking a look back at some essential stats from the weekend's action in the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two...
It was another good weekend for Sheffield United and Chris Wilder as the Blades beat Reading 2-1 at Bramall Lane, a result that leaves them two points behind Wolves at the top of the Championship.
The result took the Blades to 27 points this season, this is the joint-best return from a promoted side in the Championship after 13 games since the start of the Premier League era in 1992-93. Encouragingly for United, the club whose record they have equalled is Southampton who went on to win promotion to the Premier League as runners-up to Reading in 2011-12.
The Blades have now won eight of their last 10 Championship games and including the run-in to their League One title-winning campaign last season, they have won 16 of their last 20 league games since the end of March. Their form since the start of last season has been relentless with no other EFL club winning as many games (39) or points (127).
Blunt Brewers
Burton's 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on Saturday means they have now gone five games without a win or a goal. They are the lowest scorers in the whole EFL and have now equalled the club's Football League record for successive games without scoring.
Terrific Terry
John Terry's goal for Aston Villa in their 2-1 win against Fulham this weekend means he has now scored in the last 18 league seasons. He is also the oldest scorer in the Championship this season aged 36 years and 318 days.
Cruising Canaries
After Sunday's 1-0 win Norwich are now unbeaten in their last nine games in all competitions against Ipswich. This is the longest unbeaten run by either side in the history of the East Anglian derby.
Oldham boss Richie Wellens is now unbeaten in his first six games in charge, winning four. Before his appointment at the end of September, initially as caretaker, Oldham had won only one of their first 11 games in all competitions.
There were only 17 goals scored in League Two on Saturday, the fewest on a matchday in the division this season. Only Accrington, Cambridge United, and Forest Green scored more than once and three games finished 0-0.
