Experienced centre-half joins Oldham
Plymouth's Hungarian international central defender Krisztian Timar has joined Oldham on loan.
Timar, 30, has joined the Latics for a month in order to get first team games.
The experienced stopper becomes Oldham's second signing since the opening of the January transfer window, with a move for Huddersfield's Jim Goodwin already rubber-stamped.
Timar's move comes as Argyle's Dutch central defender Marcel Seip agreed a loan switch to Sheffield United.
More good news for the Latics is the return of key trio Chris Taylor, Pawel Abbott and Joe Jacobson for Saturday's trip to Hartlepool.
