The 32-year-old midfielder has made 19 appearances in all competitions for the Sky Bet Championship side this season, but could be on the move to Serie A.

Huddlestone started his senior career at Derby in 2002, and re-signed for the club in 2017 from Hull City after also playing for Tottenham and Wolves.

Udinese are currently 16th in the league after four wins this season.

Derby are keen on signing Leicester City midfielder Andy King on loan, but manager Frank Lampard will only sanction the deal once he has signed a new centre-back, Sky Sports News understands.
