Tottenham midfielder Nacer Chadli is set to join West Bromwich Albion on loan, according to Sky sources.

Spurs paid £7m to sign Chadli from FC Twente three years ago when he was one of the seven players to arrive after the club sold Gareth Bale to Real Madrid for a then-world record £86m in July 2013.

The 27-year-old has made 119 appearances during his three seasons in North London and managed 25 goals, including 15 in the Premier League, during that time span.

However he appears to have fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino and has failed to make the bench for any of Tottenham's three Premier League games so far.

Erik Lamela, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen are Pochettino's preferred options in attacking midfield, while Heung-Min Son, Joshua Onomah and Harry Winks also appear to be ahead of Chadli in the pecking order.
