West Brom have signed Watford defender Allan Nyom on a four-year contract.
The 28-year-old becomes the Baggies' fourth signing of the summer and Sky sources understand the fee to be in the region of £4m.
Nyom told West Brom's website: "I received a call from my agent last night and he told me about the offer to come here and I was happy to do so.
"Last year was my first in England. I was so happy to play in the Premier League as I think it is one of the best leagues in the world. I enjoyed it a lot.
"The Premier League is completely different to other leagues because here there is more intensity, more fight - the atmosphere in England is better than Spain.
"The team here is good and with good players, a team that plays together. I'm going to try to bring energy and to give my best every game; I want to help the team."
Nyom, who will wear the No 2 shirt for his new club, made 32 Premier League appearances for Watford last season after joining from Granada but has been allowed to leave by boss Walter Mazzarri, who arrived in the summer.
The Cameroon international will provide competition for Craig Dawson at right back and allow Dawson to offer cover in his more natural position of centre-back.
The Baggies are close to agreeing a deal for Hal Robson-Kanu while Callum McManaman, Leonardo Ulloa and Rickie Lambert are likely to leave if they can find clubs.
