Alan Pardew admits he is disappointed after West Brom players broke a curfew during a warm-weather camp in Spain this week

West Brom boss Alan Pardew says he feels "let down" after four of his players were involved in an "incident" in Barcelona and broke a team curfew.

Jonny Evans, Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill have since come forward and apologised for breaking the midnight curfew on Wednesday.

According to Reuters, four West Brom players were questioned by Catalan police over the alleged theft of a taxi during the team's stay in the city.

Sky Sports News understands the team had dinner at a restaurant in the city before watching that evening's Champions League fixtures, and then four players went unaccounted for.

Pardew said: "It wasn't what we wanted. We've gone there to try and get ourselves up and ready for this run-in and this is obviously not ideal.

"They break a curfew and that's unacceptable, and I feel a bit let down by that. But we still got our training in. My focus now is on the game.

"There was a curfew on that evening and it was broken, and that's all I'm going to say on that. The club is clear that it wants to investigate it properly, and I think that's right.
