Virgil van Dijk showed off his technique with a stunning free-kick in training.
Southampton take on Brighton this Sunday, live on Sky Sports Premier League, and after seeing Van Dijk in sweet scoring form on Instagram, Chris Hughton's side will be wary of conceding free-kicks against their south-coast rivals.
After refusing to train with the rest of the squad during pre-season in an attempt to force through a move away from St Mary's, Van Dijk had to wait until halfway through September to make his first appearance under new boss Mauricio Pellegrino.
But he has worked his way back into Pellegrino's team after being told he would not be allowed to leave and has started in Southampton's last three games.
And it is clear to see why so many clubs were interested in buying the player during the summer window after seeing him fire a stunning free-kick past a helpless goalkeeper in training.
