Fernando Forestieri was sent off after Sheffield Wednesday's dramatic late equaliser against Rotherham

Fernando Forestieri was sent off for over-exuberant celebrations - including a high-five with a fan - after Sheffield Wednesday snatched a dramatic late draw at Rotherham.

Dominic Iorfa converted from close range in the 100th minute to grab a 2-2 draw for Wednesday.

Some Owls players appeared to celebrate the goal with the away supporters, but Forestieri was shocked after he was shown a second yellow following a high-five with a fan.

Wednesday manager Steve Bruce was not impressed with the decision.

"It was a ridiculous red card," he said. "It is what we play football for to score in the last minute and celebrate with your supporters. Why didn't the ref send off the other 10 who were jumping in the crowd as well?"
