Fernando Forestieri will be available for selection as Sheffield Wednesday face Brentford at Hillsborough.
Forestieri was sent off in the South Yorkshire derby at Rotherham and served a one-match ban on Saturday as Wednesday defeated Swansea 3-1.
Manager Steve Bruce hopes to also have a trio of players back from injury. Morgan Fox (back), Jordan Thorniley (concussion) and George Boyd (illness) all missed the win over Swansea.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank hopes to have Marcus Forss and Luke Daniels available for the trip. Forss suffered a setback with his back injury and missed the 5-1 win over Hull on Saturday.
However, Frank revealed that a scan on the problem was encouraging and the forward could return to action soon. Goalkeeper Daniels had a minor calf injury and could make a swift return to the squad.
Sheffield Wednesday have lost their last two Championship matches against Brentford, both 0-2 - however, both were at Griffin Park.
Brentford have lost three of their last four league visits to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday (W1).
Sheffield Wednesday have only lost one of their last 11 Championship matches (W5 D5), keeping clean sheets in six of those contests.
Brentford have won five of their last six league games (L1), including a win away against Rotherham, their only away victory this season.
Since the start of last season, this is Sheffield Wednesday's fourth Championship match against Brentford, with a different manager in charge each time (Carvalhal, Bullen, Luhukay, Bruce).
Brentford's Neal Maupay has scored in four of his last five league games, with the Bees winning in each of the games that he scored in during this run.
David Prutton predicts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
