Cardiff City's return to the Championship begins with a trip to Wigan on August 3.

After Neil Warnock's relegated side visit the DW Stadium, their first home game pits them against League 1 champions Luton Town at the Cardiff City Stadium on August 10.

The first South Wales derby in over five years will take place on October 26 at the Liberty Stadium, with another rivalry rearing its head a fortnight later when Cardiff host Bristol City on November 9.

On Boxing Day, the Bluebirds host Stoke City while on New Year's Day they face a trip down the M4 to face QPR.

Swansea visit Cardiff on January 11 and Warnock takes his charges to Ashton Gate on April 4. The final game of the season sees Cardiff host Hull on May 2.
