Hamburg are interested in signing Leicester's Gokhan Inler on loan, according to Sky Germany.

However, the Premier League leaders reportedly want 3m euros as a loan fee for the 31-year-old Switzerland international midfielder. 

Inler moved to the King Power Stadium in August 2015 but has struggled to hold down a regular first-team spot as Claudio Ranieri's side have surpassed all expectations this season.

They host Liverpool on Tuesday evening looking to maintain their three-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Leicester have made three signings this window, bringing in Demarai Gray from Birmingham, Daniel Amartey from FC Copenhagen and Daniel Iversen from Esbjerg.
