Jamie Vardy has returned to fitness and will feature in Leicester’s Carabao Cup second round tie against Sheffield United on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports Football.
Vardy sustained an ankle injury during the Foxes' 2-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday but manager Craig Shakespeare today confirmed the striker has recovered and will be involved against the Blades, adding "to what extent, I'm not sure."
Shakespeare also revealed he plans to make a number of changes to his starting XI for their trip to Bramall Lane.
"Jamie trained okay this morning," he said. "A bit sore yesterday, but okay to train today so thankfully he is okay."
"He will be involved, yes, but at what length we will have to wait and see.
"I plan to make changes. I have said before I wanted a competitive group. We've got that.
"There are players I feel that have been chomping at the bit, deserve a chance. I will make changes."
The boss confirmed new signing Kelechi Iheanacho took part in Monday's training session and has "no real major problems," having last week visited a specialist over a toe injury he picked up during a pre-season friendly.
The £25m summer signing from Manchester City made his full Foxes debut in their Premier League opener against Arsenal, but missed Saturday's win over the Seagulls.
"Kelechi Iheanacho trained this morning," Shakespeare added.
"We're trying to improve his fitness. He's got no real major problems, which is a bonus."
