Hamstring injury delays Barnsley striker's league debut
Egyptian forward Mido has spoken of his disappointment at suffering a hamstring injury which will delay the start of his Barnsley career.
Mido could be out for up to three months after damaging his hamstring prior to the Tykes' pre-season fixture against Doncaster Rovers.
The striker joined the Oakwell outfit on a free transfer earlier this summer, and is bitterly disappointed to have picked up an injury so soon into his time back in England.
He said: "I was looking forward to a start with Barnsley, unfortunately this injury has come at the wrong time for me.
"I left Egyptian football because there is a new challenge for me; I love England and want to experience playing at this level."
