Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Southend and Gillingham.

A superb goalkeeping performance from Nathan Bishop handed Southend a 2-0 win against Gillingham at Roots Hall.

The Shrimpers shot-stopper made a series of fine saves to ensure all three points for Chris Powell's side.

Bishop kept out Luke O'Neill's free-kick in the first half before the Shrimpers netted with one of their own in the 40th minute as Sam Mantom's effort from the left flank missed a cluster of players in the penalty box before nestling in the right hand corner of the net.

Gills replied with Tom Eaves heading over from close range before the striker was denied by Bishop when clean through on goal.

After the break, Bishop impressively tipped over Mark Byrne's shot from 20 yards before the Shrimpers keeper did well to keep out Eaves' close range before the game exploded into life in stoppage time.

Southend striker Theo Robinson was sent off for two bookable offences before Gills were adamant Connor Ogilvie's effort had crossed the line.
