Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Wycombe and Charlton

Jason Pearce scored a first-half winner as promotion-chasing Charlton earned a third straight win with a 1-0 victory at Wycombe.

The Addicks skipper slotted home from Josh Cullen's 35th-minute cross to all but guarantee a top six finish for the London club.

Igor Vetokele had earlier been denied by a fine save from Ryan Allsop after being set up by Lyle Taylor.

But Wycombe, who have serious relegation concerns after extending their winless run to 12 games, should have rescued a point.

Adebayo Akinfenwa saw a header from Nick Freeman's cross go over while Scott Kashket's effort from point-blank range hit Charlton keeper Dillon Phillips at the start of the second half.

Akinfenwa then had another header saved by Phillips who also denied Chairboys captain Adam El-Abd as Wycombe's misfortune in front of goal continued.
