Oldham thrashed at Stadium:MK

Sam Baldock bagged a double as MK Dons twice came from behind to register a sensational 6-2 victory over play-off chasing Oldham. It was a welcome first win in five for the Dons to keep them in third but things didn't look so rosy for Roberto Di Matteo's men when Kevin Maher's 25-yard free-kick put the visitors in front after four minutes. Dons deservedly equalised when Baldock's cross found Aaron Wilbraham who stabbed home in the 33rd minute. The Latics hit back seven minutes later when Lee Hughes headed home Daniel Jones' cross only for Jason Puncheon's 30-yard lob to restore parity. Dons took control after the break and took the lead when Baldock finished superbly in the 53rd minute after latching on to Dean Lewington's chipped pass. And the 19-year-old grabbed his second five minutes later from close range after good work from Wilbraham. Alan Navarro got the fifth nine minutes from time with a left-footed shot from 20 yards that Jan Budtz failed to keep out. And the rout in the 90th minute was completed as sub Ali Gerba tapped in from close range from Lewington's cross.
