Wednesday open talks with Rovers midfielder
Sheffield Wednesday are poised to sign Bristol Rovers midfielder Chris Lines, skysports.com understands.
It is believed the South Yorkshire club have already opened talks with the 25-year-old with the aim of bringing him to Hillsborough.
Lines trained with Crystal Palace over the summer but the Championship club opted against offering the midfielder a permanent deal.
Following the Eagles' decision, new Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle stated his belief that Lines could fulfil his potential at the Memorial Stadium.
However, it now appears Lines' future lies away from the club, with a move to League One outfit Wednesday looking increasingly likely.
