Bristol Rovers saw off West Ham United U21s 2-0 in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday night.
Alex Jakubiak and Tom Lockyer were on target for Rovers as they began their campaign in the competition with a victory against a West Ham side featuring Reece Oxford.
Elsewhere, Scott Kashket scored with the final kick of the game as Wycombe beat Fulham U21s.
Alex Samuel had put the Chairboys in front inside two minutes, before Cameron Thompson cancelled out the strike. The game seemed to be heading to penalties before Kashket's late effort.
Swansea U21s secured a late 1-0 win at AFC Wimbledon as Aaron Lewis hit an 89th-minute winner.
